Ranking 10 of 12
Highest Reported NII Coverage
Funds whose reported investment income covered the most of their payout. Coverage above 100% means the payout was earned; below means part came from capital or gains.
Net investment income ÷ common distributions for the same reporting period — only for funds where coverage is applicable and reported.
Data date: prices through Oct 14, 2026, NAV through Oct 13, 2026, computed Oct 15, 2026, 5:37 PM EDT. Sponsor-reported or filing-derived, same-period figures only.

Methodology
- Universe: active, SEC-verified, exchange-listed traditional closed-end funds with a current price. BDCs, unlisted and unverified funds are excluded.
- Coverage is restricted to income strategies (taxable and municipal fixed income) with a reported figure from the last 18 months.
- NII and distributions must come from the same period and accounting basis.
- Equity, option-writing and private-asset funds are excluded: coverage on NII alone is not a meaningful test for them.
- Sample requirement: Reported within 18 months; income strategies only.
- Tie-breaker: higher 3-month average dollar volume, then ticker.
- Refresh: nightly after the U.S. close; price-dependent columns refresh during the session. Missing values are shown as missing, never as zero.
- Paid placements never alter these rankings. Full details: ranking methodology.
