Data freshness and provenance
Every value carries its own date, source and retrieval time; how we label reported, calculated, estimated and stale.
Each dataset stores the economic observation date, the retrieval time and a source identifier. Quotes carry a feed-status label (15-minute delayed, market closed — last regular-session price, or feed delayed/unavailable — showing last verified data) derived from the vendor timestamp versus the NYSE session, and a separate provider heartbeat distinguishes an inactive security from a feed outage.
Labels: reported (taken from a filing or sponsor), calculated (derived from reported inputs, formula published), estimated (e.g. Section 19(a) notices), indicative (mixed dates), stale (beyond the expected refresh), not reported, not applicable.
Refresh expectations: quotes every 15 minutes in session; NAV and prices nightly; distributions nightly; N-PORT holdings, XBRL facts and documents weekly; news every 3 hours; document link checks weekly. A re-fetch that returns the same value is not reported as a refresh of the underlying data.
Corrections follow the corrections policy; manual overrides keep the original value, reason, administrator and review date.
